Mile Mischief is a driving-adventure game: you follow GPS routes, collect cards and stamps, and earn Adventure Points. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it — in plain language.
What we collect
- Account info — your email address, username, and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Seat names — the display names you give players on a route, including family members riding along. Kids ride as named seats under your account — we do not create accounts for children.
- Gameplay data — scores, stamps, cards, spins, and route progress needed to run the game.
- Location during a drive — while a route is running, the app reports GPS position so the game can detect arrivals and reroutes. We store these only long enough to keep the drive working (see Retention, below).
- Purchase records — Drive Token purchases are handled by Shopify; we receive your order ID and token credit, never your card number.
- Technical logs — IP addresses and request logs used for security and debugging.
What we never do
- No advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share personal data with sponsors. Sponsors receive aggregate counts only (how many qualified views their placement got).
- We do not keep a continuous location history — the precise GPS trace from a drive is erased on a schedule (see below). Which stops you visited stays, since that's your stamp and score history.
Retention
An automated job runs daily and permanently removes the sensitive stuff:
- Precise GPS coordinates in navigation events — erased after 30 days
- Live-presence pings — deleted after 7 days
- IP addresses in session and funnel logs — scrubbed after 30 days
Scores, stamps, cards, and purchase records are kept so your collection and history keep working.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it — no ad cookies, no cross-site trackers.
Your choices
Email mbrashars@gmail.com to see, correct, or delete your account and its data. Deleting an account removes your scores, cards, and stamps permanently.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Continued use of Mile Mischief after a change means you accept the new policy.
